6/7/12 Italian Girls
All the Italians together! (minus parents/adults). I sadly realize that they’re all female. Funny how that works out. (Actually, Flute’s nationality is a bit in question because she was an orphan, and judging by her light eyes and hair, may not be Italian at all? I’m so tricky!)
This one was hard to get right. At first I thought Viola looked fine and it was everyone else who looked weird, but now I see it’s Viola who looks weird and everyone else is normal! Oh well.
From left to right: Mandolin Rigoli, Celestia Adagio, Viola di Largolinio, and Flute Vermicelli
6/3/12 Piccola of Switzerland
Around Eurovision time, I really wanted to do something with the characters and their home countries. I thought it might be cool to show them all with their flags draped on them in some way (like athletes or Eurovision winners.) I really love world flags. I’m weird like that.
So we have Piccola Albine, representing Switzerland. I didn’t know if I should draw her with her long hair or short hair, so here’s a spoiler because I think her short hair looks much cuter! Piccola is actually from the Italian speaking part of Switzerland, in the southern region of the country, so Italian is her first language, followed by German.
Viola in Red Smoke
Older drawing I did a month ago or so? But I like it.
